When we were searching for an inflatable PFD with a harness for a 5'2" woman, we found that all the available ones on the market did not fit according to recommended guidelines. These are that the PFD straps and harnesses go around the wearer above the floating ribs, otherwise the wearer is in danger of internal organ damage. All available PFD's stated that they were for someone 5'3" and taller.
