"I could hardly find a place in town here in Kemah where I could not get Internet. All of my devices (2 laptops, and an ipod touch running skype) had no problem connecting to the repeater and staying connected when the repeater is connected to a solid connection. The repeater is now mounted back on my boat. It's usefulness here is rather limited as the only APs which I can connect to are around -75 to -80 db. I can connect and use the internet but the speeds are slightly slower than dialup. However I DO have a connection, whereas without the repeater, I would not. And that is the most important thing. It does work as advertised."
